1. A deploy just went out. p99 latency tripled but the error rate is flat. Walk me through your investigation.
2. Write a Dockerfile for a Node.js service, then make the image smaller and more secure.
3. How would you design CI/CD for 40 microservices so that bad releases are caught and rolled back safely?

What to expect

The troubleshooting scenario was interactive — the interviewer only revealed dashboard data and logs when I asked for specific things, so asking good questions mattered. Rolling back first and investigating second was the answer they wanted. Also expected multi-stage builds and not running as root.
